SAVE OUR SCHOOLS INITIATIVE BECOMES SCHOOL REFORM NOW PAC, LLC
On October 26, 2022, The SAVE OUR SCHOOLS Initiative of the Diakonos Independent Ministries of Maryland’s Reform NOW Project moved to separate our public school reform cause from the Diakonos Independent Ministries of Maryland Organization. Under the advisement of the Maryland Board of Elections and community leaders, we have reorganized as a registered Maryland SuperPAC. Our new SuperPAC identity is now School Reform NOW PAC, CCF ID: 13014932, and we have incorporated such as School Reform NOW PAC, LLC, with the State of Maryland. Rick Cech serves as Chairman of this new SuperPAC, with Rev. Steven D. Hofmeister serving as Treasurer.
It was deemed necessary in the best interest of our cause and the welfare of Diakonos Independent Ministries of Maryland to become independent from that organization. This new identity enables us to proceed without the previous limitations we had under our original design.

Originally founded in 2022 as The SAVE OUR SCHOOLS Initiative of Diakonos Independent Ministries of Maryland’s Reform NOW Project, The School Reform NOW PAC, LLC SuperPAC now operates as an independent entity as a “Community Action Movement” focused on issues in our public school systems that affect all members of our communities regardless of political affiliation, religious beliefs, or lifestyle.
School Reform NOW PAC, LLC is a nonpartisan, volunteer-driven organization recognizing that issues within our communities and public schools need attention.
Though School Reform NOW PAC LLC comes from Christian roots, we are not about religious influence in the Public School Systems. Our function is to protect our children from curriculum and policies that we believe are not in the best interest of All Students. And to hold School Board Members and Administrations accountable for their responsibility to parents and students.
